'Tales from Ventura' - short story competition

The planet of Ventura is a fantasy world set on a faraway planet. Once you've read 'Goddess in Pyjamas' , why not write your own short story based on one of the other characters set in that world? Do draw an illustration too! Here are some suggestions;

Skye's perilous journey through space from Ventura to Earth to save Venus from annihilation by the evil Chags!

Invent some Chagrinian monsters!

Invent some new species or type of animal who live on Ventura!

Uncle Tilmo - the black sheep of the family who fell in love with a Mermian woman and swam away to sea.

Chokra - the boy with six arms.

Noog and the flock of Farkle hens.

Colin the Archgeekon of Geekdom - how the astronomy nerd from Sutton and Cheam Secondary began to believe in UFOs.

Zena and Zeta - the winged Kumarian sisters who live inside a mountain and quarrel all the time.

Tilmo's Daughter - the Life of a Mermian girl who swims the oceans of Ventura.

BRING EM ON!

All entries will be published in collections of short stories on Smashwords, alongside my own books! If one school sends in lots of entries, that school will have its own special named edition!

The winning entry will have their story and illustration featured on the front cover with an author credit! And get a FREE signed hardback 1st edition of Nickolai of the North, plus a free paperback of Nickolai's Quest. Runners up will also get free paperbacks of Nickolai's Quest.
