Smashwords

All of the ebooks available via this site have been created and hosted via the 'Smashwords' publishing service. When a book is uploaded it is immediately ready for sale worldwide, in multiple formats. After about a month or so it will also become available through most of the major distributors.

In the bad old days, I used to create every ebook in the formats I wanted, one at a time. I then had to upload them individually and sort out payment options where appropriate. Any later changes had to be made for each book format.

Not only that, but if I wanted to sell the ebooks anywhere else, other than my own web site, every distributor had to be approached individually.

So when I discovered the 'Smashwords' website it really was a breath of fresh air. Rather than add lots of individual links on this site to the different parts of interest, I'll just give you one straight through to my 'Publisher' page.

This will take you through to my main page, showing all of my books so far, plus those I've added for other authors. If you sign up yourself, you'll get an author page and a page for every book.

Please feel free to have a wander round the pages, get a feel for how the site works, and download their free books on how to format an ebook to submit it for publication, and how to market your book.

You can, of course still decide to handle the whole process yourself, but it really is a right pain compared to using Smashwords. Trust me, I've tried it both ways!
